Meet Peter Jueptner

Peter joined just recently after he had hired EMM Group to support some major top line growth initiatives at Philip Morris International. He became so intrigued about EMM’s growth driving demand management intellectual property and decision accelerator rapid results approach that he decided to change sides.

Peter is an expert in international brand and business growth. He has 20 years of consulting and industry experience mostly in C-level positions. He started his career with the Boston Consulting Group working in Germany and Asia. He then embarked on a successful corporate career gaining his brand management fundamentals at Campbell Soup where he eventually held the positions of General Manager for Latin America and Beverages. There he laid the foundation for the revitalization of V8 by redefining the brand value proposition, architecture and portfolio.

He then accepted the opportunity as Chief Commercial Officer for a B2B Internet start up (WWRE), responsible for Marketing and Sales. He built a global team of 60 people within 12 months from scratch, leading the venture to rapid break even by single mindedly focusing on the customer value proposition.

From there, Peter joined the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company as Executive Vice President (COO) for the US business where he was responsible (amongst other areas) for Marketing, Merchandising and Supply Chain. He successfully introduced leading edge marketing and category management principles into this retail environment and laid the foundation for the eventual regional consolidation of the grocery chain.

He then decided to return to his native Europe with Philip Morris International in Switzerland as Chief Strategy Officer having global accountability for Strategy, M&A and Strategic Marketing. There Peter led several key transformation projects focusing on top line growth, implementing new solutions in strategy, consumer insights, innovation and brand management and restructuring the whole company.

Peter is a strong believer in demand generation optimization to drive top line growth and has personally driven impressive business results by focusing on the right consumer value proposition over and over again. He also believes in simplicity and the importances of developing concepts that can not only be executed effectively but also have the capability to excite and align the organization.
